The library will be having a Book Fair in October.
Last year we were able to sponsor visits from Janet Longenecker, a story teller, who came and shared with us about the Plymoth Rock pilgrim's voyage to the New World and the first Thanksgiving. This visit was our kick-off for November Reading Month. We also had Mrs. Longenecker return in February to tell us about a family traveling to freedom via the Underground Railroad as part of our Black History Month programing.
November Reading Month will be an exciting time as students try to out-do their classmates and themselves by reading more books than anyone else.
